What Our Clients Say

My wife and I moved to Thorrington a year ago. We have both used MDS cars for service, MOT and repairs for our 2 cars. The service we got was absolutely first-class and the staff were so friendly. I would recommend this garage without hesitation.

William Ayrton

Fantastic teamwork from this garage. My car failed an MOT. We left the car with them to carry out the work, they brought my partner back and collected him when it was ready. Work completed in excellent time and the total price was excellent. Would recommend this garage. This is the 3rd time I have used them and have had excellent service from them each time.

Sharon Walker

Had car trouble whilst on holiday. Found this garage on ‘Google ‘ and found them very helpful. Kept my car until the required new part arrived, and gave me a free courtesy car even though they had never seen me before and had just fitted me in unexpectedly. Great service.

Michael Ayden

Could not praise these people enough, helpful, honest and totally trust them. The manager at Thorrington went out of his way to help me out on two occasions. They were fully booked but he still did his best to fit me in and investigate the problems with my car which was running rough and worse after I attempted to change my own injectors. He gave me good advice and I didn’t end up with a big bill. Been taking my car and van to this company based at Ardleigh and Thorrington now for 13 years. The owner Dave has always helped us out and never seen us stuck. Honest people.

Simon Taylor

Fantastic car servicing and automotive repair workshop. Always explain the work carried out and advises on any preventative maintenance required to maintain the vehicle. Highly recommended with a courtesy car available to keep you mobile.

Clive Marchant

By far the best garage in Colchester. I have been a customer for 14 years and their work has always been of top quality. All the staff here are great! Very welcoming and knowledgeable. They are the only garage we trust.
